  6. My vote is for Mackenzie Shearon from Redmond. She is only a freshman holding a 3.9 GPA. Was a forwa She also had a fantastic year of wrestling! Pinning all the girls and BOYS in a double arm bar!! She only lost 3 matches out of 65 matches! 2 of those were at state with a torn shoulder! She is tuff, strong, smart and beautiful inside and out. Best female athlete I know!!

  7. Ashley Lohman is well deserving of this award. She is a 3 sport varsity athlete, Volleyball, Basketball and Track. She plays almost all 4 quarters in every game. This year in the Northwest League she received 1st Team – All League, All Defensive Team, Defensive player of the year and Player of the year. Her team also received the sportsmanship award, as well as the Northwest League title award. She has broken 11 school records in basketball and has never been on anything lower than Varsity in all 3 sports. She is competitive on the court but has so much more to offer off the court. She is friendly, team player and co-captain of her team. Ashley volunteers at her local church and this year will be her 3rd year volunteering for a program called IMPACT providing help to people and communities in need. My vote is for Ashley, she deserves this award.

Which is not unusual except she was the point guard on a boys 11-12 traveling team. She is only 5′ 5″ but she plays like she is 5′ 9″
Micha is a very good athlete and an excellent person. I can only hope that good college coach sees her for what she is! A great basketball player who is really fun to watch take over a game!

  12. Ella Taplin has been such a positive role model for me this season. We’ve wrestled a few matches together and on the mat she’s a tough and aggressive wrestler but more importantly off the mat she’s kind and encouraging. This was my first real year of wrestling and she helped me so much taking me through different moves and encouraging me when I needed it. She is such a leader to her teammates and even if you’re on the outside it’s super apparent that she’s loves them all.
